Wir erwarten, dass es etwa 9 bis 10 Flights mit 5 Personen geben wird. Da am Sonntag viele schnell heim wollen, ist der Zeitplan im Vergleich zum Vortag etwas gestrafft.

Aus der Erfahrung verzögert sich meist alles ein bisschen, aber wir geben unser Bestes, dass es reibungslos abläuft.

Turnierformat

Das Leinen Los Open ist Teil der DiscGolf Serie Süd und offizielles PDGA C-Tier. Wir spielen 2 Runden mit jeweils 21 Bahnen. Sollten wir einen ähnlichen Ansturm wie im letzten Jahr erleben, behalten wir uns vor, 5er Flights zu machen - wir rechnen aber erst mal nicht damit.

Scoring

Auch in diesem Jahr muss jeder die Scores seines Flights erfassen. Gescort wird über die turniere.discgolf.de Plattform. Falls es technische Probleme gibt, werden wir eine Scorecards in Papierform vorhalten. Um Papiermüll zu vermeiden, wird das eine Papierscorecard pro Flight sein. Im Fall eines Systemcrashs kann auch alternativ in Metrix (Starte Training, Parcours suchen, Flightpartner hinzufügen) Pool A, Pool B oder Udisc gescort werden. Das Scoring kann an Caddies übertragen werden. Wenn möglich, erstellen wir die Flights in der 1. Runde so, dass eine ortskundige Person in jedem Flight ist.

Kurs/Layout

Wer uns kennt, weiß sicher, wie wichtig uns der Kurs und das Layout sind. Euch erwartet daher ein anspruchsvolles Bouquet an Bahnen, das Jede und Jeden fordert, aber immer fair bleibt. Wie schon gesagt, wird es zwei Layouts geben. MPO, MP40 und MP50 spielen die schwere Variante von den Long-Tees MJ18, FPO, FP40, MP60, MP70 spielen die leichtere Variante von den Short-Tees Sollten zu wenige Rating-Geber antreten (min. 15 pro Layout) kann es sein, dass wir die MP50 und/oder MP40 noch auf die Short-Tees verschieben müssen. MP50 wird nicht Short-Tees spielen. Egal, ob das Rating kommt oder nicht (aktuell sieht alles gut aus). Caddybook wird online gestellt, sobald es fertig gestellt ist. Eine Vorabansicht kommt bald.

Startplatzvergabe

Um die Vergabe so fair wie möglich zu gestalten und auch den unterschiedlichen Zielgruppen der beiden Turniere gerecht zu werden, werden die Startplätze wie folgt vergeben: Bis eine Woche nach Start der Registrierungsphase behandeln wir alle Anmeldungen gleichberechtigt. Der Zeitpunkt der Anmeldung spielt keine Rolle. Sollte es mehr Anmeldungen als Startplätze geben, werden wir folgende Kriterien zur Vergabe der Startplätze heranziehen:

1. Jugend und Frauen bevorzugt
2. Engagement für Discgolf
3. Mitgliedschaft in der HyzerCrew
4. Teilnahme an beiden Turniertagen
5. Das Chaos (in Form eines Zufallsgenerators)

Auch wieder in diesem Jahr: Wenn ihr gerne als Familie/Gruppe anreisen möchtet, schreibt uns eine Nachricht über die Turnierplattform oder per Mail mit den betreffenden Namen. Ihr gewinnt oder verliert dann gemeinsam. (Das Angebot richtet sich vor allem an Familien, Partner- und Fahrgemeinschaften. Zu große Gruppen haben eher schlechte Chancen.)

Preise

Auf Pokale müssen wir in diesem Jahr verzichten. Es wird aber wie gewohnt Urkunden für alle auf dem Podest geben - angereicht mit einem kleinen Schmankerl.

Verpflegung

Wir stellen wie immer kostenlos Obst sowie kleine Riegel. Getränke und Snacks bietet das Team von Leinen Los an. Das Mittag wird von Leinen Los angeboten. Es gibt Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat und Käsespätzle. Buchbar in den Zusatzoptionen eures Kontos.

Ort & Anfahrt

Die Adresse: Schützenstraße 1, 91327 Gößweinstein (49.7751376, 11.3415133) Anfahrt öffentlich: Über Forchheim, entweder über Ebermannstadt mit dem Regionalzug R22 und dann mit dem Bus 234 (Richtung Neudorf) oder direkt von Forchheim mit dem Bus 222 (Richtung Gößweinstein). Haltestelle ist jeweils ‘Gößweinstein Freibad’. Mit dem Auto: Gebt einfach Disc Golf Leinen Los in die üblichen Navis ein.

Sonstige Informationen

Ace-Pool-Teilnahme: 1 Euro (vor Ort zu entrichten - bitte Münzen einpacken) Gleichstände für die jeweils Erstplatzierten einer Division werden im Modus Sudden-Death aufgelöst - die Bahnen 1 und 5 wie im Caddybook und danach wird von Tee 6 auf Korb 1 gespielt (Pool A von Abwurf B (130m) und Pool B von Abwurf A (95m) - das Feld ist OB). Diese Kombination an Bahnen wird so lange wiederholt, bis der Gleichstand aufgelöst ist. Für MPO, MP40, MP50 wird es einen CTP-Wettbewerb auf der Bahn 1 geben. Für MJ18, FPO, FP40, MP60, MP70 wird es einen Longest-Putt Wettbewerb auf der Bahn 7 geben. Dixi ist vorhanden.

Abmeldung/Absagen

Absage bis 2 Wochen vor Turnierbeginn: Rückzahlung Startgeld in voller Höhe Absage bis 1 Woche vor Turnierbeginn: Rückzahlung Startgeld in halber Höhe Absage weniger als eine Woche vor Turnierbeginn: keine Rückzahlung des Startgelds Essen bis 1 Woche vor dem Turnier vollständig. Danach keine Rückzahlung.

Fotografieren und Mediennutzung

Der Verein und Leinen Los werden bei der Veranstaltung Fotos machen und diese ggf. auf den jeweiligen Webseiten und Social Media im Zusammenhang mit dem Turnier veröffentlichen. Wenn ihr damit nicht einverstanden seid, lasst es uns bitte am Turniertag bei der Anmeldung wissen.

Set Sail and Cast Off (Open)! Follow the flow of the Wiesent and start the tournament season with us on April 27, 2025. We warmly invite you all to join us in the beautiful town of Gößweinstein to celebrate our favorite sport together this weekend. As always, we remain true to ourselves and continue to explore new territory. In recent years, Saturday featured an SST Series tournament with an easier course, while Sunday hosted a more challenging series tournament. This year, we will play the same course on both days, but it will have two layouts, ensuring that almost all holes have appropriate tees for each division. We particularly aim to create exciting challenges for the women’s divisions.

Tournament Format

Saturday is dedicated to amateurs, with divisions sorted by player rating and gender. We offer all divisions from MA1 to FA4. On Sunday, the competition will be structured by age categories, as usual. Those looking for the full experience can enjoy an amazing weekend in Franconian Switzerland. Date & Schedule

We expect there to be about 9 to 10 flights of 5 people. Since many people want to get home quickly on Sunday, the schedule is somewhat tighter than the previous day.

From experience, things usually get a little delayed, but we do our best to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Tournament Details

Leinen Los Open is part of the DiscGolf Serie Süd and an official PDGA C-Tier event. We will play two rounds of 21 holes each. If we experience a turnout similar to last year, we reserve the right to form 5-player flights, though we do not anticipate this necessity.

Registration

Registration opens on Wednesday, February 27, 2024, at 8:00 PM via turniere.discgolf.de. This year, all players must record their flight scores. Scoring will be done via the turniere.discgolf.de platform. In case of technical issues, paper scorecards will be available. To avoid paper waste, there will be one paper scorecard per flight. In the event of a system crash, scoring can also be done in Metrix (start training, search for a course, add flight partner) Pool A, Pool B or Udisc. Scoring may be assigned to caddies. Where possible, we will arrange the first-round flights to include a local player in each group.

Course & Layout

Those familiar with us know how important the course and layout are to us. Expect a challenging yet fair mix of holes. As mentioned, we will use two layouts: - MPO, MP40, MP50: Advanced layout from Long Tees - FPO, FP40, MP60: Easier layout from Short Tees If fewer than 15 rated players per layout participate, we may need to move MP50 and/or MP40 to the Short Tees. MP50 won't play short tees, regardless of whether the rating comes or not (everything looks good right now). The Caddy Book will be available online once finalized. A preliminary version will be released soon.

Entry Slot Allocation

To ensure fairness and meet the diverse needs of our participants, spots will be allocated as follows: - For the first week after registration opens, all registrations will be considered equally; registration time does not affect priority. - If there are more registrations than available spots, we will prioritize: - Youth and women players - Disc golf community engagement - HyzerCrew membership - Participation in both tournament days - Random selection (to introduce an element of chance) Family/Group Registrations: If you wish to attend as a family or group, please send us a message via the tournament platform or email, listing all names. You will be accepted or rejected together. (This offer mainly applies to families, partners, and carpool groups; larger groups may have lower chances.)

Prizes

We'll have to do without trophies this year. However, as usual, there will be certificates for everyone on the podium - along with a small treat.

Food & Drinks

- As always, we provide free fruit and small bars. - Drinks and snacks are provided from the Leinen Los team. Lunch will also be available through Leinen Los. It features schnitzel with potato salad and cheese spaetzle. You can book it in the additional options of your account.

- Ace Pool Participation:** €1 (payable on-site - please bring coins). - Ties for the first-place finishers in a division are broken in sudden death mode - holes 1 and 5 are played as per the Caddybook, followed by play from Tee 6 to basket 1 (Pool A from Tee B (130m) and Pool B from Tee A (95m) - the field is OB). This combination of holes is repeated until the tie is broken. - For MPO, MP40 and MP50, there will be a CTP competition on hole 1. - For MJ18, FPO, FP40, MP60 and MP70, there will be a Longest Putt competition on hole 7. - Portable restrooms available.

Photography & Media Use

The club and Leinen Los will take photos during the event and may publish them on websites or social media in relation to the tournament. If you do not consent, please inform us during check-in on the event day.
